DESCRIPTION

M – Star is a broad spectrum and systemic fungicide which belongs to strobilurin group. It has excellent preventive and curative action & stops spore germination, inhibits existing infections and prevent the further disease development. It has ability to prevent/ cure major groups of plant pathogenic fungi- Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Dueteromycetes and Oomycetes.

Increases the flower holding capacity of the plants. Effectively kills broad spectrum of disease on a wide range of crop. Makes the leaves greener and healthier. Helps the plant to fight better against the abiotic stress and better utilization of the nutrients provided.

Mode of Action : It works by binding to the cytochrome BC – Complex in the mitochondria of fungi and prevents electron transport and the production of energy through oxidative phosphorylation. This deprives the fungus of the energy it needs to grow, effectively killing it.
